About the author

Cherry is a professional artist who writes the Jessie O'Bourne art mystery series in her elusive free time. Like  her main character, Jessie, she paints primarily western and wildlife subjects, travels to art shows, and teaches workshops. There's always something on the easel and a new mystery on her mind.

A blend of the twisted whodunit and the cozy mystery genres, the Jessie and Jack series delights audiences who love art and want to peer into the world of color brought to life in Jessie's special way. Cherry doesn't disappoint. She sees the world in swatches of color like her heroine, an amateur sleuth, and has no difficulty blending the author and artist into a complete whole.
Raised in rural Montana, the setting for books one and two, Cherry now lives in Idaho with her husband and several spoiled cats.  Artist? Mystery author? Stop by and see which one you meet on any given day. The coffee pot is always on and the brew is strong enough to hold up the spoon.
